Campbell's 2nd Birthday Party -- Belated Pics!

We held Campbell's second birthday party for 15 of her friends (and assorted parents) at the clubhouse in our neighborhood.... what a fun time!

"You want me to do what with this cupcake?!"

Someday, Cam will look at this pic and say "That's my dad, Yep."

How did this spoon get stuck in someone's hair?

Delayed Highlights from Campbell's Birthday Party

Between Christmas and Uncle Brad's arrival -- it feels like Campbell's 2nd birthday was weeks ago!!   Here's a few highlights -- from her actual birthday (12/20.)

Walking down in the morning to see...

A wonderful array of birthday surprises...

For one, always-happy two-year old...

Assistance from big bro, of course...

A new purse from Daddy...

Already working it...

Our Little Man Laughing It Up

He's just starting to work on it -- but when he does, Colby has the best baby smile I've ever seen!

Me and the boys watching Phineas and Ferb

Where's Perry??

Our Future Astronomer

Carter loves his new telescope from Grandpa Lange...  We got to see the craters on the crescent moon during our first try.

Some Christmas Week Highlights

Both Mom & Dad successfully completed their NC Driver's License test this week -- so we celebrated with dinner at Bandido's in Chapel Hill (Colby was there too -- just sleeping).

In addition, Carter (and all the kids) got a much-needed refresh in the pajama department at Christmastime, as you can see from Carter's Buzz/Spiderman combo.   "Dad -- I'll just defeat Emperor Zerg with spiderwebs."

And today (12/28) was our first trip to the Durham Science Museum (awesome!  totally over-delivered versus expectations) and Campbell clearly tuckered herself out.

Some Christmas 2011 Memories

A great Christmas season -- you can't hope to capture all the memories in one post...

Firstly -- Stacey did an AMAZING job getting the house decorated for the season this year -- I'm going to take a video before we bring the decorations down, but the outside of the house alone just looked magical!

We spent Christmas Eve for the first time at the Lake House this year -- quite peaceful and nicely decorated too!

If I do say so myself, a wonderful 'around the world' cheese plate was enjoyed by all!

Carter got a new police office uniform, Campbell was showing off her new 'pretty in pink' outfit from Aunt Honey, and the family got a pretty amazing visit from Santa and his reindeer!

Carter and Campbell loved rocking out to their new guitars and Campbell helped Carter and his Dad work on his first new Lego creation!
